Will I See You Again? (2021)

This dance film is a story about the present, it is an exploration of what it is to be lonely or alone accommodated in our comfort all day. It is about finding the community that we never lost while still exploring the architecture of the body with vogue and contemporary shapes and aesthetics.

This film is a continued exploration of contemporary and vogue as a staged performance. This piece contains my experience growing up, hiding who I truly am until the ballroom scene was introduced to me. It showcases the essence of my Dominican identity in the dembow / reggaeton late 2000s street art era.
